Final CD and Poster
Final CD
I am much happier about my final CD design compared to my draft version and it is much more accuarate and it just generally looks better I much prefer the layout.
Final Poster
I am really pleased with the overall result it took much longer on photoshop than what I thought. I didnt have many stills to use but im really pleased with the overall result, It is much better than my original version. It shows off my better Photoshop skills as the other poster was quite plain in this poster I have added the text I needed. I didnt want to overload the poster with text as I didnt want to look to complicated. I think it could be improved still but I am happy with the result.

How did you use media technologies in the construction and research, planning and evaluation stages?
The brief for the A2 part of the course is to successfully produce a music video, and create a digipack. the internet was so helpful research everything I needed.
My media blog was a 'live' portfolio it enabled me to create a visualisation of my ideas and get prompt feedback, It became a day to day diary.

Risk Assessment
Staircase– My main concern was the staircase entrance for the girls. As they were entering the pit in next to no light and going down a steep set of stairs. Whilst filming. I briefed the girls on exactly what was going to happen so they had clear instructions of where they were meant to go and make sure that they are in control of their actions to avoid any chance of falling. We did a lot of dummy runs of the shot which made sure of the speed I wanted them to walk at after a few runs I decided to tell the girls to walk more slowly as I was worried that they would fall down like dominos. I suggested that when editing I just speed the footage up instead and concentrated on their timing when walking which was a much better idea. By taking precautions on the staircase I actually got better footage.
Balcony- Although we are used to being in the pit as the actors used in my music video know the pit well it was still important that when filming on the balcony there was some lights on so people could see where they were going. Not only for people but I was using media equipment which I had to make sure was not damaged in any way so by having the lights on there wasn’t a possibility of an accident as everyone could see were the equipment was. When filming Bradley on the balcony we did a few run through so he knew were to stand.
The Pit floor- Before any production I borrowed a broom and dust pan and brush from the cleaning cupboard as the pit is used regularly by other classes and drama productions. I made sure that the whole floor was clean as not only was I walking around it myself but my dancers had expensive, thin ballet shoes on and it is my responsibility to make sure the space that the dancers are performing in is safe.
Lighting- One of the main concerns for my helper and me was the lighting we didn’t want to leave the stage lighting on for too long and such high brightness setting as we didn’t want to break a bulb or cause the lighting to overheat. After filming we made sure that all lighting equipment was turned off correctly and put away correctly.
